Near the end of October, the full 1.0 version of vampire survivors came out. This was the breakout game, or even genre, of 2022. If you were worried that this meant that the developer Poncle was done, put your worries back in their worry-case, close the lid, fasten the clasps, and update your edition to the 1.10 version that was just released. The Tiny One patch makes a few small changes and adds an interesting new challenge stage that is a very narrow bridge.
When you reach level 80 in the Inverse Gallo Tower, you can play the Tiny Bridge Stage. It is the most ridiculous challenge because it only has one lane, and you have to change your abilities in very specific ways to have any chance of surviving.
The whole idea sounds horrifying—capturing that split second in a normal game when you realize you’re trapped and can’t do anything about it, and then trying to do anything you can to stay alive. So, that’s great.
It costs 10,000 base, has 10 levels, and can be obtained by “banishing ten or more objects in a single run.” Good grief, Vampire Survivor got harder while I was looking out this window.
Are you familiar with this game? When I first started playing, I was really worried about whether or not I would be able to handle the game’s challenges. But now things are different, and I can play without being afraid of the sun. I can win fast and with pride. It is one of my favorite games because it is so much fun.
